These two were high school sweethearts, and have been in love for 7 years.  I’ve always admired couples who were high school sweethearts – who knew that intoxicating feeling of young love with each other.  Don’t get me wrong, love at any age and stage of life is amazing, but I think everyone remembers that overwhelming feeling of falling in love for the first time when you’re a teenager – feeling like there’s absolutely nothing you can’t do or be with this person.  Still so young, these two have a history and an ease about them – a connection that was so easy to shoot…

I can’t wait for their wedding this summer – I have no doubt it’s going to be fabulous in every possible way!!  Thank you to these two for meeting up with me and being so relaxed and easy; makes my job well, not really a job at all.  :)

Somehow, every year, I happen to book the most fun, creative, beautiful couples and get the happy privilege of documenting their engagement session and ultimately their wedding day.  Photographing the connections, the excitement, the anticipation, the details and all the little things that make every relationship unique, make my job so rewarding.  I love meeting new brides and grooms, and then I love when they become friends.  Not just clients, but friends.  I truly get so excited for them and feel honored that they have chosen me to attend their wedding and photograph everything that makes it beautiful.

These two were so easy to photograph – full of excitement and anticipation of their summer wedding.  I can tell the day is going to be incredible just like their connection is…

Some weddings are extraordinary: heartfelt, full of emotion, beautiful in every way and just plain happy.  Anna & Zach’s wedding was magical.  From the stunning bride and the chic do-it-yourself details, to the backdrop of the Bighorn Mountains and the sweet connection between the groom and his bride, it was every photographer’s dream.

Today, Style Me Pretty published this gorgeous wedding on their blog!  I am so excited and honored to have their images featured on one of the most acclaimed wedding sites in the industry!  Thank you to Anna and Zach for inviting me to document your beautiful wedding.  Much love to you both!

the toasts and everything about the day was flooded with emotion.  I had to try very hard to focus on not crying.  ;)…

{Natural Beauty} Sheridan, Wyoming + Montana Boudoir Photography

I photographed this gorgeous, sweet, naturally beautiful lady several months back and am excited to finally share a few conservative shots from her session.  She is enviously beautiful not only outwardly, but from spending the day with her, it’s obvious she has an equally beautiful personality.  The day I spent with her and her friend was such a blast.  We laughed and chatted until the day slipped away, and I was happy to help her create an awesome gift for her sweet hubby.  Thanks again to these two ladies for traveling for the mentoring session and also for this fun shoot!!  Loved meeting you both!!!

My friend Lindsey is an incredible photographer in the Denver, CO area and is someone I admire very much, both as a mother and also as a photographer.  We were able to swap a few photos of each other’s families during the holidays, and I was grateful to not only capture her with her clan, but also get some of me with my own peanuts.  :)  So many more to share from her session!!  And absolutely check out her work – she is so. so. good!

I’ve been busy over here editing, finishing up weddings from last year, getting things squared away for 2012, and tying up various other odds and ends.  I do have a lot to share here on the blog, so stay tuned!  Hope you’re all having a fabulous start to the new year!!!
