Q&A

Q.  Where do you shoot the Diva Sessions? 

A.  You can either have me come to you at a location of your choice, or we can do them in a gorgeous old victorian home I have access to!  I need a few different things:  window light, flexibility, girl power (for moving furniture around, of course), and some unique settings to photograph in.  If you don’t feel like your own home has enough light or enough character, we can either do them at the home mentioned or perhaps you could make arrangements to shoot at a friend or parent’s house instead.  It’s up to you!

Q.  Am I obligated to have my photographs posted on your website?

A.  Absolutely not!  Every image that is displayed on my website or blog is signed off on and okayed by you.  I have the utmost respect for women who would rather keep their images private, and also for those who are willing to let me share their artwork.  At the same time, I am also very careful about what is displayed (and shot), as my intention is solely for a woman to feel amazing about herself and to have classy images to be proud of (and surprise her partner with).

Q.  What should I wear?

A.  I suggest you have your makeup professionally done, and that you bring several outfits or articles of clothing that you love.  If you’re not sure about what to put on, bring a goodie bag and I can help you from there.  Corsets and lacey or textured things photograph beautifully;  even a favorite sweater can be photographed in a suggestive, artstic way that is sexy and classic.  High heels are a must and any other things that make your man do a double take. 

Q.  How long does it take?

A.  The Diva Session can take anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on how quickly things come together.  I will simply shoot until I have the images I know you will love.  These sessions are relaxed, fun and spontaneous! 

Q.  Should I bring anyone with me?

A.  Feel free to do so!  You can have a little entourage with you if you’d prefer, complete with champagne and lots of laughs - I’m at your service!  =) 

Q.  Do you do gift certificates?

A.  For all of my sessions, I typically do not do gift certificates.  However, I will provide gift certificates to those parties who will be involved in the ordering process (ie. a friend, parent or spouse who is willing to help financially). 

Q.  How much does it cost?

A.  Art is an investment, and what better way to gift your significant other than with beautiful pieces of artwork with you as the subject?  I have gorgeous leather-bound albums, folios, custom collages and lots of other goodies to choose from - your options are endless!  Please contact me for a full rate sheet.

Q.  What if I’m not supermodel thin?

A.  I’m a firm believer that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all shapes and sizes of the womanly form are BEAUTIFUL.  Your significant other loves you as you are, and we can work together to accentuate your strongest attributes.  Lighting, clothing and the angles I shoot can all lead to successful images that make you feel and look incredible. 

Q.  Can I get the digital negatives?

A.  Digital negatives from your session are available for purchase; your print credit can also be applied toward this if you wish.
