{Happy New Year} Sheridan, Wyoming Photography

Although it’s now into the second week of January, I’ve recently been reflecting on all my wonderful clients this year and wanted to say a huge

THANK YOU

to each and every one of them!  I truly had the best year ever, and I only have my valued and incredible clients to thank for that!!  From awesome engagement and boudoir sessions (click both words to view more sensitive images), to family and newborn sessions, my time spent with each client was so rewarding and fulfilling!  I feel incredibly blessed to work with such fun people, make such great friendships throughout the process, and do what I love most!

2009 in Review: (Part 2 and 3 coming over the weekend!)

Thanks for looking, and I’ll be back in a day or so with even more favorites from this past year!

Today I photographed a beautiful family of five with three bustling, busy and gorgeous kiddos.  Their ages: 4, 1 and 1.  But the kicker is the one-year-olds are not twins; you do the math!  =)  Suffice it to say that this stunning couple rarely has a moment of peace.  lol.  And so I stole them away for a few moments (we won’t play the audio of what was transpiring in the background, lol) and this entirely beautiful image transpired.

When I got home and began downloading their images, I saw this one and my heart skipped a beat.  I am just in LOVE with this shot.  Perhaps one of my all-time favorites, although every session I have one or two that speaks to me in a deeper way.

Isn’t she lovely?!

I will be back next week with many more from this session.  But until then, have a fabulous weekend!

{Sweetness} Sheridan, Wyoming Engagement Photographer

I met up with this sweet couple yesterday to get some shots of just the two of them, no kids, totally low-key, laid back and a little bit country…before they get married next summer.    Sometimes you can just *feel* when a couple is in love - and these two were all that and more.  You can see the admiration, the love and the respect they have for each other by spending just 45 minutes with them.  And I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding!  I know this woman is going to be a STUNNING bride and that her day will have some spectacular little touches.

So, I have been on this vintage-kick over the past 6 months or so, and while I LOVE LOVE LOVE the soft, romantic look to many of my images, there are those that scream color…and well, many of these did just that.  I also loved the classic feel of the black and whites, so I guess there should be a little something for everyone in the mix.  ;)  And I had the hardest time narrowing these down for a blog post - they were just so dang cute!!

Thanks again to this duo; I am so excited for your big day!!

Speaking of big days, we just finished up my little man’s birthday party and we all had so much fun.  I took him in for his 2-year-check today and all was well…except that he had an ear infection we didn’t even know about.  I guess maybe there is a reason for his suddenly 2-year-old behavior after all??  ;)  I won’t hold my breath, but it did make some sense of the nightly wake-up calls and general crankiness that has blessed our lives for the past week or so.  ;)  Needless to say, this kid has so much to be proud of - from being potty trained for a few months (this was all him, not me!!), counting to 14, learning his ABC’s and some phonics, an incredible vocabulary and the sweetest little nature to boot (okay, there’s definitely some spice in there too!) - this kid melts me.  Yes, he can be your typical toddler who hates to share, lashes out with those pinching little fingers when things don’t go his way and is too quick for his own good, but the sweet kisses, constant cuddles and the kind little heart makes up for every moment of being “terribly two”.  ;)  I hope the 2’s slow down a little bit - I’m already missing my baby.  ;)
