{Natural} Sheridan, Wyoming Boudoir Photography
This woman was naturally BEAUTIFUL! Wow, seriously, these images have very little post processing other than a slight pull in curves and a bit of sharpening for the web; she is just. that. gorgeous.
Thank you to this gal for a fun shoot yesterday – she’s working on a little gift for her hubby! =) Here is a scratch on the surface of what we got yesterday; again, only showing the most conservative shots as to keep my blog kid friendly!! =) ha.

I have a maternity shoot coming up this weekend, so stay tuned for those!
See you soon!

{Inspired} Sheridan, Wyoming Photographers
Today I am feeling inspired. It’s probably just spring fever, but nonetheless, I adore the feeling. Inspired by my kids, inspired by photography, inspired by light. Just inspired. Tonight I took a long walk with the kids and as we were parking the monstrosity of a stroller, the most beautiful sunset lit up the sky in all shades of pink and red. And the three of us sat down in the grass and watched a sunset together – and my two little people were enthralled. And I was thinking to myself that I need to just slow down a little more, to appreciate the little things in life. Speaking of slowing down, I was naturally slowing down with my out-of-shape self as I pushed the double jogging stroller up the biggest hill in town!!! I seriously need to do that every day and perhaps I could continue to consume my daily pint of coffee creamer without ill affects.
That’s a whole other post for a whole other day! ha.
Anyway, yesterday I got to meet up with an old friend and photograph her beautiful babies. Thank you to her and to these darling little people for letting me capture all the cuteness on “film”, even if it was for only a a few short minutes. =) Aren’t they just adorable?!
The little Miss of the house:

And her darling baby brother:

Did I mention he has the cutest baby curls on the block??:
And the oldest brother – so super funny:

And one last one of the three of them together:
Thanks for stopping by! =)

{Edible} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby Photography
I thought I’d leave a little blue-eyed yumminess that I photographed yesterday!! Isn’t he a doll baby?!? And yes, I think he’s quite edible – he’s one of those babies that gives you very strong baby-eating urges.
See you later…I have a boudoir shoot this afternoon, but should be posting a full preview of this little man with his two siblings later today or tomorrow!
Happy Monday!

{Senior Preview} Sheridan, Wyoming Senior Photographer
Today I met up with this GORGEOUS gal and I must say we had a little fun. =) Did I mention that she’s gorgeous?!
But not only is she beautiful, but she is truly one of the sweetest seniors I’ve ever met. I left our session thinking to myself that I’d be very lucky to have my own turn out similar at that age. Whatever her mom and dad are doing has paid off a million times over!! So onto the session, it was a windy WINDY day and so we decided to forgo the park after a short while and explore a site I’ve been looking at for a few years, but hadn’t used yet. Thank you to these business owners for allowing me to use their location – it turned out really fun!
Every session I think, “THIS is my all-time favorite image!” and then the next one comes along and I feel exactly the same way. And this session lent itself to SO MANY gorgeous images I could sit in front of my computer all day just proofing them. But I *tried* to keep it to a minimum and post these few that jumped out at me so far. =) Enjoy!

and quite possibly my favorite image of the day…maybe ever…I just {LOVE} it for some reason:

{Renovations} Sheridan, Wyoming Photography
I’ve been wrapping up my winter project these past few weeks: our kitchen. We purchased the house I grew up in last May and kicked my parents on out.
Kidding, they have a lovely home just walking distance from us, so we’re not far and I think we’re all happier in our new digs. I had dreams for this kitchen, but when the estimates for new cabinetry and such started coming in, I knew I was about to undertake extreme home makeover…on my own (with a little trim and install assistance from my dad; THANK YOU DAD!). =) And so I started sanding and painting and sanding and painting, and three months later…I’m finally done. Whew am I glad that *little* renovation is behind me, and now I’m ready to just settle in and enjoy our summer.
I’ve had so many people ask for pictures, and so I thought I’d share some before and afters. The only thing left to finish is the trim along the top and bottom of the back splash – you can probably see that it’s just sitting there unpainted. Otherwise, I’m home free! Literally. =)
Here are the before pics (top two were from before we even moved in):

And after:

Let me know what you think! (We were debating between green and black on the back splash so let me know your thoughts!)
I now have a bathroom and a studio to start on…maybe I should snap some pics and send it in to the HGTV network or DIY show.
Perhaps I could win a room makeover and save myself some suffering! haha.
Anyway, I have a very busy lineup for sessions ahead, so I look forward to sharing them with you here! As always, thanks for stopping by!

{For a Soldier} Sheridan, Wyoming Boudoir Photography
This beauty is patiently waiting for her soldier to return from Afghanistan – waiting with their 4-month-old baby while her husband serves our country. I was so excited to help her plan a gift for him, an album that will be filled with classy, beautiful images of her to remind him of home. Although I have her permission, I will only be posting possibly one or two very conservative images from these sessions at the request of my better half!
!

If you are interested in a Diva Session, contact me for available dates! These unique sessions are becoming very popular amongst the ladies and is such a keepsake not only for your husband/significant other, but for you too! Think beautiful, classy, suggestive, sassy and fun!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
{Pink Blessing} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby Photographer
Today I had the honor of photographing this little beauty.
And I just might add that I fell in love with her. Sigh. Seriously, she was the tiniest little person born just 11 days ago at 37 weeks weighing just over 5 lbs. She is precious and beautiful, and I would like to order one just like her. =) And did I mention her mom and dad waited eight long years for her?? I think her debut has been long awaited!
Her mom and her grandma traveled from out of town to meet with me, and I hope these images make it worth their trip! I typically love black and white images for babies, but these just felt fresh, colorful and sweet just as they were. Thanks to all three of these ladies for such a fun(ny) afternoon!! I can’t wait to share the rest with you! Enjoy!

{Foursome: A Sneak Peek} Sheridan, WY Family Photography
I’m finally back from my hiatus, and although I loved having a few months to re-energize, remodel our new house and spend time with my family, I’m ready to be back! =)
Today was my first family session of 2010, and although it’s still super cold and muddy/snowy/rainy here, we managed to land on a very beautiful morning. I’m so very appreciative to my neighbor who has kindly allowed me to use her property (and my friend who made the connection! =)), and with clients who wanted rural pictures in winter, I think we did our best! =)
This family was so fun, and truly their kids were the sweetest! I am around a lot of families and it’s always fun to find a family that genuinely loves to be together. Their little girl wanted in on every hug and could barely be pried from her daddy’s leg – and you know what? I love it. I don’t mind not always having the perfect poses because photography, in my opinion, should be all about interactions, everyday life and simply capturing personalities. Thank you to this amazing family!!! I so enjoyed meeting you! (And it was soooo hard to pick a few for the blog!! There were so many fun ones!)

And the two responsible for all this crazy cuteness! =)
Thanks for stopping by! I’m off to Denver in the morning, but will be back next week with newborn photos and boudoir photos! See you then!

{A Girl Can Dream} Wyoming Photography
Just had to post quickly about a SWEET give-away over at EPIPHANIE!!!
They are hosting a give-away for either a 5D Mark II or a $2500 certificate to Southwest Airlines!
WOW. I am crossing all my fingers and toes for this one. Head on over to enter!!
And because a post isn’t a post without a picture, I thought I’d post something that reminds me of spring. As if the grass-green paint I just rolled on in my kitchen isn’t enough to give me spring fever, this is one of my very favorite things about summertime!!!

I
keep telling myself that spring is just around the corner, when really, I’m in complete denial that we may very well have two months left of winter here in Wyoming. Ah well, the kids will be running around in their swim suits, popsicles in hand soon enough – I can’t wait!
