Gotta love a girl in piggies!  I couldn’t help but share a few more from our little “shoot” tonight (which mostly consisted of, “Mom!  It’s cold out here!” all the while I just kept snapping away.  Mean Mommy.)  And I’m so very glad I did.  This little one is so hard to photograph, believe it or not, and usually puts on this fake little grin and plasters her cheek to her shoulder in some attempt at modeling (??) and well, it’s just not HER.  But tonight I captured the essence of her…the laugh, the inquisitive look and the pure joy she finds in life.  I LOVE this kid!!!

And on a more business note, I am now booked through the end of the year with the exception of maternity and newborns, which I try to always make time for!  I have had so many awesome clients this year and am already looking forward to next year!  I do plan, however, to take December and January off to focus on my own family, spend less time in front of the computer and just recompose.  ;)  I have not only been working on client session proofing, orders, cards, collages/storyboards and the like, but I’ve completely redone my logo, blog, I’m starting on my very neglected website, and I’m trying to finally order samples of everything.  Yes, I’m a bit of a slow-poke, only because my amazing clients come first!!!  And to that note, I had a client inquiry a few weeks back that somehow did not come through on my phone until literally last week, and I felt horrible.  When I listened to the call details and realized how old it was, I was almost embarrassed to call her back.  But, alas, I did…twice…and she had already booked someone else.  Which is perfectly okay and fine, but if she’s reading this, I’m so, so sorry!  That is very unlike me to not return a call, even if my books are full.

I have 3 family sessions this weekend (yes, three…I have a hard time saying no somedays!) and so I will be back with lots of images in the next week or two!  Until then, enjoy the beautiful scenery we are all taking in!!!  =)  Happy Fall!
