Those pink lips…
are back. =) I’m so lucky to get to photograph these beautiful girls every year; this is the third year so far, and we had as much fun as ever! This year we ventured out downtown and had fun walking around and letting the leader of the pack (she’s 2) take us wherever she wanted!
Again, another long post – sorry, but I hope you enjoy! Oh, and every year I get asked if that is their real lip color, and yes, it sure is! Aren’t they beautiful? (Oh, and mom and dad are pretty cute too, ha.) =)

I’m off to see the Time Traveler’s Wife! =)

Pet Project
For the past few years, my dad (who is also a photo lover) and I have been toying with the idea of traveling all over the Big Horns by ATV, capturing all the wildlife, landscapes and beauty of Wyoming that we possibly can, and then making Fine Art prints available through Alissa Ferullo Photography to our community and beyond. It’s still a dream, but WILL come to fruition one of these days. Anyway, after a big rainstorm the other day and a cancelled shoot, I decided to snap off 5 photos of whatever I saw on the way home. And this was one of them. Nothing fancy, just an everyday scene in Wyoming.

Bliss
It’s how they describe their marriage…and their little family oozes just that. =) Oh, and their beautiful daughter’s name: Bliss. How cute is that?

What are little boys made of?
This one’s made of all kind of sweetness. =) And he’s got some balance, eh?
Let’s see….Christmas. Although the weather looks far from snowy as you can see from our gorgeous weather today, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas!
For any clients who have had a session with me this year and are wanting a custom designed card, please contact me early so we can get them on order! I had planned to do a day of Holiday “Mini-Sessions” last year, and once again planned for it this year, but I have so many wonderful family and senior clients on the books, that I’ve decided to forego it once again. My allegiance is as always, to my precious babes, and my time can only stretch so far.
On a very EXCITING note, (okay, that’s an understatement as I’m about to POP with excitement!!!) I am headed to California next month for a workshop with the most famous and AMAZING JESSICA CLAIRE. If you haven’t heard of her, you absolutely have to check out her unbelievable work; she has been my all-time favorite photographer and inspiration for a while, and with the new direction of wedding photography for my business next year, I wanted to kick it off right.
We will be photographing a mock wedding and so I should have plenty of beautiful photographs to share afterward. But, alas, I now have to wait six long weeks before the fun begins!!! =) I am feeling so blessed and so loved by my sweet husband, who has been my biggest fan for the past few years and who encouraged me to do such an extravagent thing!!!
Seriously, the guy believes in me more than I do most days and well, I’m a lucky girl. I am actually heading out for a vacation, with no little ones in tow, my camera bag over my shoulder and the beach in sight…not to mention, I get to meet the biggest celebrity in my world. lol. Does it seriously get any better?? I think not! =)
I have a very fun family session to share in the next few days, so stay tuned! =)

Little Heartbreakers
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this family twice now, and this year there were four of them, rather than three. =) Both of their boys are so adorable and have the most incredible eyes I’ve ever seen – I don’t think my camera could ever tire of them!!! We had fun exploring, chasing and playing, and as you can see I had a HARD time narrowing it down. You might want to grab a cup of coffeee…;)

The light was so beautiful, and I loved the rays spilling over his face…

And the two parties ultimately responsible for the above cuteness: (and my favorite part about these last two: what’s swirling in the background…LOVE it. =))
Thank you to this family and I should be back with more from another family session in the next few days!!

Just 7 =)
I’m finally sharing a session I truly meant to share over a week ago, but time seems to get away from me these days!! Between diaper changes, errands, playtime, swim lessons, and life in general, there are moments I feel like I just can’t accomplish my to-do list in a 24 hour day. Can I get an amen??
I know all moms out there feel similarly as it’s just a constant juggling act. But when I get clients who are fun, who make my day enjoyable, it reminds me how much I love my job. And you get this: (Are they a cute clan or what?)
I started my morning photographing this little guy – the star of the show, really. =) He was the only kid in the mix of 7, so he got a little love from not only my camera, but of course from his Mom and Dad, Auntie and grandparents.

I love seeing couples who’ve been married for a good length of time…there is something so genuine, so caring in the way the interact…
And it’s obvious they’re crazy about their grandson too. =)

Thank you to this lovely family for a fun session – your gallery is coming SOON!

Sweet Pea
I’ve been wanting to take some pictures of my little Jack for quite some time now, but never seem to find the right day/time/etc. But this afternoon was different, and although he had a fever and wasn’t feeling great, we decided to venture out for a quick little “shoot”. Which really was all about the end result of an ice cream cone…hey, I had to leave his sister with his beloved Mimi, and in return I had to come up with something pretty substantial. Anyway, most of our session involved the very over-animated looks and expressions he is known for, so I was giggling as he was pointing, oohing and ahhing over cars, trucks and the airplanes I kept mentioning, that weren’t actually flying by, but at least he kept checking with some curiousity for a short while. He must think his mommy is a bit crazy.
Of course, the grass was a big hit, as was mom’s camera and the street, and his favorite angle to offer me was his back, as usual. But hey, he’s only 21 months, so I can’t ask for more than that, right?

He was wearing down by this point…I think this was his respite before enduring more of mom’s antics.

And of course, he finally tired of my tricks and bribery, and decided it was time for his ice cream cone. And now. =) Can’t really blame him!

My Date
This was my lovely date this afternoon, and my sweet company tonight. Just me and my boy. =) This little person carries my heart in his pocket – he is the most loving, cuddly little man I could just eat him if he didn’t disappear afterward. He’s cuddled up as I type away here, literally whispering in my ear and telling me all kinds of stories. I am just so lucky. So grateful. And so in love. I’ll be sharing more from our little shoot in the next few days, but I’m still behind on a family session I haven’t finished up yet and will have one from this coming weekend to share! =)
