Sunset Glow
My closest girlfriend and I decided to venture out last night to do a little photo shoot of our own girlies on one of the most beautiful nights we’ve had in far too long, and I couldn’t help but share a few of my little one. My friend, Emily, brought along a very fun vintage chair she managed to steal away from Salvation Army, and we were both pretty giddy. Unfortunately, our girls were less than thrilled…yet I did manage to squeeze ONE laughing smile out of Sophia at just the right moment. =) This blog has been a bit empty for many reasons, including clients rescheduling for fall due to summer commitments, inclement weather, and those select clients who choose not to have their photos displayed online, which is perfectly fine! And so I’m excited to share these here! The light last night was so incredibly divine and I enjoyed putting my own little one in the limelight, even though the shoot was filled with a mess of mosquitoes and the distractions that captivate a 3-year-old, none of which include my camera. =) Light at sunset never fails to amaze me, and with my little sweet pea in front of that backdrop, you can’t get anything less than beautiful. Although, I admit, I might be a *bit* biased! ;)

And this last one was taken by my best, most beautiful friend in the world: (I was most certainly not prepared for a photo of myself, but when the moment arises to actually be in a photo with one of my children, I’ll take it even when I look like I’ve been camping for a month! ;))

And oh yes, you can believe my little Jack is up next! ![]()

My Girl
This little beauty is my baby…and almost 4 years old. Sigh. I’m not exactly sure where the time goes, but all I know is I am one grateful mamma to have such a lovely little person in my world. These were taken last night at sunset in her usual nightgown attire. ;)

Girl Heaven | Part 2
I wanted to share a *few* more from this session; as you can tell, I had a hard time choosing from more than enough images filled with beautiful light, adorable smiles, bright blue eyes and quite a few giggles. I do love my job! Proofing these has been a respite from the pounding of hardwood installation, painting and numerous other renovations being completed at our new house. It’s insanity, but I’m getting really excited to finally have progress! Thanks to this family for such a fun afternoon!

Girl Heaven
I photographed a fun family of 6 over the weekend, complete with four sweet little girlies! Ah, the bliss of all girls - what can be better than that? Each one was so beautiful, well mannered and sweet; and I can’t wait to share more of the images from our session. Until then, here’s a little sneak peek!
