{2+1=3} Sheridan, Wyoming Family Photographer

08.24.11

This sweet little man graced my blog just a few posts back as the darling newborn.  But dad couldn’t be there, so we met up for a few more last night for some family shots.  He is now 5 weeks and just as precious.

I could have just kept shooting; I’m so not good at “taking just a few”, lol.  Especially when the focal point looks like this:

{Felicity Huffman, Carrie Underwood, and a Beautiful Senior} Sheridan, WY + MT Senior Photography

08.22.11

Not only did I get to photograph one very gorgeous senior girl late last week, but I learned an interesting little tidbit about their social connections.  ;)  Apparently her mom is close friends with Felicity Huffman from the hit show Desperate Housewives …say whaaaaaaat?  I LOVE her.  I love the show.  And I really couldn’t quite grasp the fact that she had recently been to little old Sheridan, WY to visit this sweet family.  I somehow missed the party, :-) but nevertheless, I thought it was a pretty incredibly cool connection.  Or maybe I’m just a little star-struck, but either way, I think it would be such a kick to meet her.  And speaking of celebrities, when I started editing these images I realized there was a very strong resemblance to Carrie Underwood, but you can decide for yourself.  Her own appeal and ease in front of the camera made my job so. very. easy.

Celebrities aside, this beauty was so much fun to photograph.  I enjoyed every moment with you Miss K, and look forward to maybe another winter shoot with hats, scarves and snow-dusted trees.  You are absolutely beyond gorgeous…

The one on the right below,  is the one that really reminded me of Carrie Underwood…wish I could be her look-a-like too…;)

All weddings are unique and beautiful for their own reasons, just as every couple is unique and special for different reasons.  These two are nothing less than adorable, fun-loving, relaxed and completely perfect for each other.  I loved witnessing the beginning of their world as a twosome and to be a part of documenting their vows – the together forever part seems like a fairly easy adventure for these two.  I will let the pictures do the talking…I couldn’t help but share quite a few from their gorgeous day, not to mention they have been patiently waiting on these for a few weeks.  ;)

{Twins + Big Brother} Sheridan, Wyoming Family + Child Photographer

I got to chase these three little monkeys around over the weekend, and boy were they some busy little people!  Their mama was absolutely stunning and I am so happy with the candid beauty we were able to capture…

As you can see, the little girlie wanted the camera on her at all times…and it was hard to not oblige.  ;)  Thank you to this beautiful family for allowing me to capture some of your most precious memories!  Mandy, you have absolutely beautiful children!!

{A Little Sugar} Photography Classes + Mentoring, Wyoming + Montana

I had the pleasure of a mentoring a favorite client and friend over the weekend.  She drove several hours to come and learn, ask questions and prepare to get her own little business off the ground.  I am so excited for her and can’t wait to see what is in store for her!

{Babies = Art} Sheridan, Wyoming + Montana Newborn Photographer

In my mind, images of babies are really like a beautiful piece of artwork – every single one is unique and beautiful in their own way.  This particular little man was the highlight of my week: absolutely the most perfect little model.  He slept the entire time, which really never happens to us photographers, and was a perfect gentleman.  =)  I adored him…

Congratulations to this beautiful family on the arrival of their very first babe.  He is nothing short of amaZing!
