Meet Miss Julia.  She is loved and adored by so many people and was prayed for and wanted long before she came to be.  =)  I am so happy for all of you and am also excited to introduce her to the world!  (Excuse the very long post….I couldn’t seem to pick just a few!)

And of course, the sibling shot that can only provide pure entertainment…  =)

A huge thank you to this family – I loved meeting your sweet girlie and feel blessed to call you friends!  You have much to be thankful for this year and always!!  =)

08.24.11

This sweet little man graced my blog just a few posts back as the darling newborn.  But dad couldn’t be there, so we met up for a few more last night for some family shots.  He is now 5 weeks and just as precious.

I could have just kept shooting; I’m so not good at “taking just a few”, lol.  Especially when the focal point looks like this:

In my mind, images of babies are really like a beautiful piece of artwork – every single one is unique and beautiful in their own way.  This particular little man was the highlight of my week: absolutely the most perfect little model.  He slept the entire time, which really never happens to us photographers, and was a perfect gentleman.  =)  I adored him…

Congratulations to this beautiful family on the arrival of their very first babe.  He is nothing short of amaZing!

{Baby’s First Year} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby + Child Photographers

This sweet family has been some of my most treasured clients, and when she divulged she was having her 4th child, we knew the “First Year Baby Plan” was the perfect choice to document this little man’s infancy into toddlerhood.  We did maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month (captured during a family shoot) and 1-year pictures to capture him growing, laughing, and becoming a little boy.  Truly, this plan is the most perfect (and cost effective!) way to capture your baby’s first year of life.  It only happens once!

{Waiting} Sheridan, WY Baby + Maternity Photography

There is absolutely nothing like waiting on the arrival of your first child.

It is nothing short of magical: the excitement of meeting a brand new life that is all yours, the love that you already feel and know for a baby you’ve never met, and the emotions you experience with your significant other in expectation of a brand new beginning, together, as a threesome.

This mama and her hubby have had many years together and are now going to become a family.  And she is glowing as every beautiful mama should be…

Waiting on her newest Love.

Anticipating all that will be.

And all that this little one will become.

Life is about to change in every way possible, and the possibilities are endless.

{New Years Baby} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby + Newborn Photographers

Ah, babies.  Seriously, what is better than these tiny little people?  I adore their sweet baby smell, their curious eyes and their wispy hair.  In fact, I kind of love everything about them.

This little girlie was such a perfect model.  I think she had practiced for her closeup…

And all her little bits and pieces…

And in the image above, it’s like she’s trying to tell me a secret…perhaps that she’s going to give her big brothers a run for their money.  =)  And the next outtake made me laugh a little…I can imagine she will feel this way often:

But I must say, those boys are too cute for their own good.  ;)  I think this family is more than blessed…

Thank you to this family for once again allowing me to capture your babies!  Happy 2011 to them!

{Freshly Baked: A Sneak Peek} Sheridan, WY Newborn + Baby Photography

11.03.10

There have been some babies to grace the “studio” lately…and I LOVE it!  Although they are certainly not the easiest sessions, they are often some of the most rewarding to not only edit behind the scenes, but to be a part of.  Truly, what is better than a freshly baked little one straight out of the oven?  ;)  I adore all the miniature bits and pieces of these miraculous little gifts.  I personally find it hard not believe in a masterful creator when you see such a work as this.

This little man made my day when he came to visit.  I got to squeeze him, hold him and obviously, capture his adorable little self.

Thank you so much to this beautiful boy and his mama for visiting me the other day – loved it!  Streams of pee and all!  =)  haha.

{Baby Love} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby + Newborn Photographer

10.13.10

So…what happened to me this morning?  I got a SERIOUS case of baby fever due to a certain little bundle of baby love that arrived on my doorstep, awaiting her first closeup.  And I’m not kidding.  I don’t really get baby fever because, well, I am blessed and thankful for the two I have.  I adore having a boy and a girl and I feel complete.  Until today.  And WOW my husband is seriously going to have to have a talk with me!  ;)

This little darling arrived and was an absolute DOLL BABY in every sense of the word.  From flawless skin and sweet smiles at just 7 days, to adorable hair and the most beautiful complexion.  She also happens to have the most beautiful, radiant mama with the sweet and immediate bond that has her captivated with this brand new life.

I could have photographed her all day long, but well, we ran out of blankets (wearing no diapers when you’re brand new can be challenging, you know) and she was so good, it just didn’t take long.

THANK YOU to this sweet mama for allowing me to document this once-in-a-lifetime moment with your first child.  I will have to blame you in some small way if this baby fever turns into anything!!  ;)

Meet Miss H.  Isn’t she beautiful?

Now that I see them all here together, I’m loving how they all match.  I’m envisioning these as a collage somewhere BIG!  =)  I painted my kitchen this color yesterday – must be an orange kind of week!

Also, I will be taking a little time off over the winter months, but will be taking 1-2 newborns in both January and February – very limited space available, so if you are expecting or know someone who is, book quickly as spots typically fill fast!

{Welcome Miss A} Sheridan, Wyoming Baby + Newborn Photographer

06.03.10

I just love babies, and am realizing that I love my job all that much more when I get to meet, hold and snuggle these tiny people!  This little one was just 6 days old and so completely perfect that I think I’m going to have a hard time controlling myself in the blog post.  =)

She was BEAUTIFUL.  And so was her big sis.  And her parents.  I truly enjoyed meeting this family and spending a few hours documenting what is truly the most monumental moment in married life: the welcoming of a child.

And how lucky am I to capture that?  I think I mentioned I {LOVE} what I do.  And here she is…Miss A.

and with her adoring big sis…and her over-the-moon parents…(the shot on the left made me laugh – doesn’t it look like she’s going to be a ballerina???) =)you can tell this little peanut is going to get loved on plenty.  No worries there.  =)Congrats to this family – I wish you lots of sleep, laughs and love!!!
