Sarah + Jon | Destination Wedding at Eaton’s Ranch, Sheridan WY Photography

So many gorgeous details and moments made up this beautiful destination wedding!  I’m so lucky to get to be the one to capture the excitement, the nerves, the tears and the joy of a wedding day.  I love getting to know my clients, watching them exchange vows in front of their most special people, and celebrating their new adventure as Mr. & Mrs.!!

As a photographer, having couples who prioritize their photography makes for beautiful imagery; when time is built into the day for us to quickly shoot in several locations (at a desirable time of day for lighting), it gives me the creative flexibility to create a diverse collection of portraits.  I work with my clients to create a timeline that maximizes the opportunities for beautiful lighting, with enough time to get those relaxed portraits every couple wants.

Sarah & Jon, thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible day!

Happy honeymooning!!!

{Tiny Jeans} Baby Photographers in Sheridan, Wyoming

What could possibly be cuter than tiny baby jeans?  Well, perhaps the adorable chubby baby thighs that are stuffed inside, but besides that?  Nothing really.  Babies with their sweet belly’s tucked into a pair of pants with a 2-inch inseam is truly about the cutest thing ever.  I just fell in love with this peanut.

This little man has seen my camera twice, once in his mama’s belly and once as a newborn, and now he’s the big 3-month man on campus, wearing jeans.  Once again, complete baby yumminess that makes me want to just cuddle and snuggle and well, eat these darling little creatures.  I know, I know, too much baby-eating talk.  But honestly, don’t you feel the same way????  ;)

Thank you again, to this sweet family of 6 that travels 2 hours every few months to let me visit their newest family member, and also capture their adorable family!  I am so grateful!

{Blue Eyed Boys} Wyoming + Montana Child Photographer

These two blue-eyed baby boys are special to me.  Not because I’ve spent a great deal of time with them or because they’re the cutest things I’ve ever laid eyes on, but because their mom and I have been friends since we were teens.  Back then it was all about boys, dating, road trips and parties that then turned into college visits, then weddings and now babies.  And even though we don’t see each other as often as I’d like, every time we find the time to connect, it’s hilarious and fun and exactly like it’s always been.  I love those kinds of friendships – and I’m realizing that they don’t come along very often.

I’m so happy I got to snap a few photos (in a matter of minutes in my backyard, mind you) of these two adorable little people last weekend.  Their blue eyes are insanely beautiful – I didn’t lighten them at all, they are seriously that gorgeous.

I did not indulge in any baby-eating behaviors during this shoot – I controlled myself.  However, I seriously could have put him in a bowl with a big scoop of whipped cream and eaten him right up.  Oh that yummy, squishy baby chub.  To die for!!!

And his big brother is equally as edible – but wasn’t quite as into my antics as baby.  ;)  But he was a sport for me!

And a few more just because I can’t help myself.  Have I mentioned I ADORE babies?  I love their sweet heads, their chubby, soft skin, and their glee at this stage.  It’s perfection.  I begged them to leave him with me, but, well, I guess they decided they couldn’t be without him.  And who can blame them???

Thanks for stopping by!

If you have a large print sitting around your house (which I know some of my clients do! =)) email me for pricing and lets get your artwork on display!!

I shall be back with two boudoir sessions next week!  2010 is looking to be so much fun and I am finally finishing up all kinds of goodies for my clients that will make your experience that much better.  I’m getting so excited!!!

I photographed this gorgeous girl several weeks back but am unfortunately just getting this posted in the midst of a move!  She is Mrs. Sheridan this year, and I would be shocked if she didn’t have an incredible chance: she’s sweet, down to earth, and obviously, stunning!  Good luck to her!!!

As for me, I’ve really had a love/hate relationship with my computer lately as it seems to be the last thing I spend my time doing.  And so, I’ve horrified my husband and gone domestic instead.  I’ve learned how to knit and have been teaching myself how to sew these past few weeks (no laughing, please).  =)  I’ve started dreaming about stitches, yarn and gorgeous fabric….it could be a very serious addiction!  Put the knitting needles down and the sewing machine back in the closet.   =)  My husband thinks I’m 29 going on 89.

We’re, as I mentioned, in the middle of a move, and should be out of our place by the end of next week!  So many exciting changes coming my way, including (eventually) a natural-light studio in my home, which will be INCREDIBLE!!  So excited to share some upcoming family sessions, and a senior session from a couple weeks back!  Until then, Happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there!  =)

Baby On Board

This morning I was lucky enough to photograph this little certain someone hiding away inside his mama’s belly, and hopefully he’ll make an appearance within the next three weeks!  =)  Actually, the focus of this afternoon was most definitely on the beautiful mommy – she (and her husband, but he had to work today) are just so thrilled to be adding to their family, and you could tell.  Newborn photos coming soon!
